DANASA was born from discomfort: on-demand publishing had turned into an impersonal transaction — rigid templates, opaque commissions, cold distribution. We wanted something else.

What we do
A print-on-demand platform with our own typographic engine, integrated with international printers (Lulu, IngramSpark) and a native translator for nine languages.
Authors upload their manuscript, pick trim size and preset, and the system composes perfect pages — with microtypography, widows fixed, validated margins.
Then the book is printed in the reader's country. One copy at a time. No stock, no waste, no middlemen.
Editorial principles
Four things we believe.
The work belongs to the author.
Manuscript rights never change hands. Authors can withdraw their book, sell on Amazon in parallel, or change platforms whenever they want.
Transparent margins.
Print cost, shipping, and editorial margin are public. Stripe Connect pays authors directly — we don't sit in between.
Craft over algorithm.
We don't reorder the catalog to maximize clicks. We don't charge for placement. Readers find books by merit, not by bid.
How we got here.
DANASA is an independent project born in 2024 from a writer tired of seeing their work laid out like a form. It started as a LaTeX script library and became an editorial platform.
In 2026 we opened the public catalog with our own typesetter, Lulu + Stripe Connect integration, and a 3D shelf for readers who collect — not just consume.
We're a small team. We prioritize craft over scale. If a book takes two extra days because the typography wasn't tuned, we wait those two days.
